HUMAN RESOURCES (HR)
@WarHorn, Human Resources is the other half of our initial journey along with IT. We have been part of the transition of an HR Departement being an administrative arm of an organization to a strategic corporate business partner. We have provided individual and team resources as well as been an external services center. While HR has taken on a variety of responsibilities over the years, we still have a major focus on managing various aspects related to its workforce such as policies, practices, and tasks involved in recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and supporting employees throughout their tenure within the organization.
Key functions and responsibilities of HR include:
RECRUITING & HIRING
Attracting, sourcing, and selecting candidates to fill job positions within the company. This involves creating job descriptions, advertising roles, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING
Facilitating the orientation and integration of new hires into the organization. This includes introducing them to company policies, culture, procedures, and providing necessary training.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Handling employee-related issues, conflicts, grievances, and ensuring a conducive work environment. HR also plays a role in fostering positive relationships between employees and management.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Implementing systems and processes to evaluate and manage employee performance, including performance appraisals, goal-setting, feedback, and development plans.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Identifying skill gaps and organizing training programs to enhance employee capabilities, career growth, and overall productivity.
Compensation and Benefits: Managing payroll, salary structures, employee benefits, incentives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
HR POLICIES & COMPLIANCE
Establishing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and compliance with legal and ethical standards related to employment laws, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
@WarHorn, we understand the value of an excellent HR department as it bridges employees and management, playing a vital role in creating a positive work environment, supporting employee well-being, and aligning human capital with the organization's objectives.
